The Young Portrait Show celebrates and fosters the creativity and originality of young artists and provides young people the platform to showcase their artwork and special people in their lives.
Warrnambool Art Gallery invites young artists up to the age of 18 living in the South-West region of Victoria to create a portrait of someone who they know personally and who is special to them.
Portraits must be created on the Young Portrait Show artboard and be portrait format. Art boards and entry forms are available from the Gallery Store for $2 per frame for the general public, free to schools.
Frames and entry forms will be available from Warrnambool Art Gallery from May.
Entries close: 5pm Friday 14 August 2026
Exhibition dates: Saturday 22 August - Sunday 19 October 2026
Collection of work: From Friday 23 October to Sunday 22 November 2026.
