UPDATE: Due to the forecast storms, we have moved this event from Wednesday November 27 to Wednesday December 4. The times remain the same. We hope to see you there!
Warrnambool’s first Wheelie Convoy will take to the Promenade on Wednesday, December 4.
People with wheelie walkers, wheelchairs, mobility scooters or trikes are invited to join the convoy, which aims to encourage people to get social, get active and make the most of the accessible infrastructure along Warrnambool’s foreshore.
The Wheelie Convoy will start at either the Pavilion (full course) or Worm Bay (short course).
Full course (960m): Arrive at the Pavilion at 10.30am for an 11am start.
Short course (410m): Arrive at the Worm Bay car park at 10.45am for an 11.15am start.
Check out the event flyer for course details and other useful information.
The convoy will finish with a free barbecue lunch (gluten free and vegan options available), live music and spot prizes for best decorated hat and scooter/wheelchair/walker from 11.30am-1pm.
Please dress for all weather conditions e.g. hat, sun protection, coat. In the case of extreme weather this event will be postponed.
