Youth Art and Orienteering in Victoria Park. Suitable for All ages.
Officially opened in December 2022, the Victoria Park Orienteering Art trail combines art with orienteering! Come along and orientate yourself around the ten sculptures in Victoria Park, while viewing artworks created by local young people by scanning the QR codes. From the 1st September, new artwork from Warrnambool FReeZA’s ‘Reveal Another World’ Photography Exhibition, and Green Futures Now Rubbish Repurposed Art Competition will be on show.
You can navigate yourself around the trail by either using the looking holes on each sculpture or scanning the black QR codes to find the bearing of the next marker. This trail is open all the time for people to enjoy.
Each sculpture was designed and constructed by local students from the Merri River and WAVE schools, with support of local artist Michelle Shearer.
