Victoria Park Orienteering Art Trail

Warrnambool City Council

Art meets orienteering in Victoria Park! Start anywhere in Victoria Park and follow the trail to find all 10 sculptures. Bring a smartphone and scan the QR codes to get the full experience. Open any time.

Each sculpture has been designed and constructed by local students from the Merri River and WAVE schools, with support of local artist Michelle Shearer. They feature looking holes which guide you to the next marker. A QR code on each sculpture also provides bearings for you to navigate to the next marker using a compass!

Other QR codes feature augmented reality and other creative content developed by the young people of Warrnambool.

The Victoria Park orienteering Art Trail is a community project facilitated by Warrnambool Council Youth Engagement team. It has occurred in partnership with local artist Michelle Shearer, One Day Studios, the Warrnambool College Multicultural Leadership Group, the WAVE school, Merri River School, Warrnambool East Primary School and other young leaders.
