Please join us in a community celebration to launch a new public art installation at James Swan Reserve in Warrnambool on Saturday 5th April, 9:30am-11am with a picnic to follow. The artwork is a collaborative project between Warrnambool College and Leadership Great South Coast (LGSC) 2024 Community Leadership Program Participants and depicts the Six Seasons of the Eastern Maar people. The event will include a Welcome to Country, Cultural Dancing, music from Lee Morgan and remarks from those involved in the project. Everyone is invited to bring a picnic (no glass or alcohol please) and enjoy a morning of celebration. We encourage everyone to bring water and take home their rubbish please.
