Furry Friend Headbands - Friday 3 January
In celebration of the NGV exhibition Cats & Dogs, children can design their own set of cat or dog ears by drawing fur patterns and details inspired by their favourite pets.
Fashion Fun - Paper Dolls with Collective Closet - Friday 10 January
Create a paper doll with its own wardrobe! Participants can mix and match their paper clothes and accessories to make endless creative outfit combinations while learning about fashion, design, colour and patterns.
Bush Flower Pompom Bag Charms - Monday 13 January
Create a bush flower pompom using yarn, embroidery thread and colourful felt to then tag to a school bag, key chain or anything else!
Lots Of Dots With Yayoi Kusama - Friday 17 January
Pumpkins often appear in Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama’s artworks. Taking the spirit of the summer NGV exhibition Yayoi Kusama, this activity introduces children and families to one of the world’s leading contemporary artists.
Bogong Moths with Deanne Gilson - Friday 24 January
In this activity, children receive a paper template of the Australian bogong moth to make their own paper moth.
