Coming to the Lighthouse Theatre Studio, The Music of Ludovico Einaudi brings you a wonderful hour of colourful, haunting, yet mesmerising celebration of Ludovico Einaudi himself, one of the most highly acclaimed contemporary classical composers and performers of today.
Local musicians Chris Philpot [Violin], Tristan Forster [Violin], Zachray Wei [Cello], Andrew Philpot [Percussion], and Julie McErlain [Piano] will perform 10 of some of Ludovico Einaudi’s most well-known pieces. Ranging from Elegy For the Arctic, where in 2016, Einaudi performed a historic moment for Greenpeace as he played on a floating platform in the glacial waters of the Arctic, right through to Logos, which he performed over the world in over 120 concerts.
While often deceptively ‘simple’, the repetitions, the details, the perfect melodies have fine changes and detail, beauty and honesty. Einaudi’s music has touched the spirits of thousands of people around the world. A concert spectacular you don’t want to miss.
