Warrnambool | A City for Living

Local native plants, six seasons, sustainability and your garden

Warrnambool Library

We're excited to be supporting this locally grown free event in celebration of National Reconciliation Week 2023.

Join us at the Warrnambool Library where Worn Gundidj plant gurus will be sharing info on the six seasons of our region, traditional uses of plants and how they can fit into your garden, the environmental benefits of natives, and how they can help in planning your garden.

We will also be joined by Gardens for Wildlife, who will explain how to garden in a way that supports the unique plants and animals native to our area, and our natural assets officer and botanical bestie David Brennan will be advising on how to be water-smart with your garden.

We will be giving away hose trigger nozzles so you can save this precious resource when watering your space.

Last time this session booked out quickly and was a packed house, so jump on and book now: https://warrnamboollibrary.spydus.com/cgi-bin/spydus.exe/ENQ/WPAC/EVSESENQ?SETLVL=&RNI=603295
