Drum Circle with Bassidi Kone
Gather in circle for an uplifting afternoon of rhythm, connection and shared music with Malian percussionist Bassidi Koné. Born into a Griot family in Mali, West Africa, Bassidi carries a rich musical tradition passed down through generations. In this welcoming, hands-on session, he will guide us through traditional West African rhythms using drums and percussion. No musical experience is needed—just come ready to listen, play and feel the joy of making music together. Drums will be provided.

Live Music with Bassidi Koné The bar will be open. Join us for a special evening of live music with Malian musician, percussionist and balafonist Bassidi Koné. Born into a Griot family in Mali, Bassidi grew up surrounded by the songs, stories and rhythms of his ancestors. Through the earthy resonance of the balafon and the powerful pulse of traditional percussion, Bassidi shares music deeply rooted in culture, community and connection.
