Legal topics made easy! Join us for Lunchtime Law, our monthly legal series with SAFV Centre (Emma House Legal Program), held on the first Friday of every month. This session, presented by Courtney Ashton, senior solicitor with SAFV Centre, will cover Parenting Issues and Mediation. All welcome.
Separation brings significant changes to a child’s life. If safe, reaching your own parenting agreement saves time, money, and stress. Where this is not possible, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia can step in and make orders about the care and welfare of children. There are procedures that a prospective party to the Family Court must follow prior to commencing proceedings. During this session, we will discuss the steps a party must take before these proceedings.
This event is presented with Emma House Sexual Assault Family Violence (SAFV) Centre. www.safvcentre.org.au www.emmahouse.org.au
