150 pigeons will race from Lascelles to Warrnambool via the Little Desert, the Grampians National Park and the volcanic plains of Western Victoria to the City of the Southern Right Whale on Sunday August 30.
This 320 kilometre race will celebrate the Centenary of the Warrnambool Racing Pigeon Club (1926–2026) whilst raising money for a new $115,000 prostate cancer detector system for South West Healthcare’s Warrnambool Base Hospital.
How You Can Get Involved
There are 3 ways you can get involved:
• Individuals can pay $50 to Sponsor one of the 150 pigeons in the race.
• Businesses can pay $150 for the Naming Rights to one of the 150 pigeons in the race.
• Businesses can pay $200 to both name and sponsor the one pigeon.
Naming Rights — $150
• Only Businesses can take out Naming Rights.
• A Business can only have the Naming Rights to one pigeon.
• The Naming Rights fee is $150.
• A Business can also Sponsor ($50 fee) the very same pigeon it has the Naming Rights to ($150 fee), at a total cost of $200.
Sponsorship ($50)
• An individual can only Sponsor the one pigeon.
• The Sponsorship Fee for one pigeon is $50.
