Easter Fishing Comp

Our Annual Easter Fishing Comp is back for 2023, bigger and better then ever! 

Start: 7th April 12:00pm entries will be taken at the club rooms (3 Otway Road, Warrnambool) from 10am or via the link below

Finish: 9th April 12:00pm. Presentations from 1pm. All fish MUST be weighed in before 12:00pm.

Boundaries of fishing: Curdies river to the Fitzroy river and all waterways in between.

Weigh Ins: There will be a weigh in on Friday 6pm till 7pm, Saturday 9am till 10am, Saturday night 6pm till 7pm and Sunday final weigh in 11am till 12pm. BBQ lunch and raffles to follow before presentations.

Entry Fee: Open / Ladies $30 a ticket which gets you entry into the fishing competition and 1 ticket to the boat raffle. Multiple tickets can be purchased for the boat raffle to increase your chances of winning. Boat will be drawn on the day and winner will be notified by phone. Transport at winners expense.

Juniors: 16 years and under $10 fishing competition only. If a junior wishes to enter the boat raffle, they can do so for $30.

Major raffle prize: Anglapro 354 powered by a Suzuki 9.9hp 4 stroke on an Easy Tow trailer fitted out with a Garmin fish finder. Total package valued at over $10,000!! 

Prizes: Biggest bream for the whole comp (any selection) caught and released.

Open: 1st prize heaviest bream caught and released. Top 4 heaviest fish to follow includes mulloway, perch, trout and bream.
Ladies: 1st prize heaviest bream caught and released. Top 4 heaviest fish to follow includes mulloway, perch, trout and bream.
Juniors: 1st prize heaviest bream. Top 9 heaviest fish to follow. Including mulloway, perch, trout and bream.

One prize per individual.

BBQ lunch will be available on the day. Drinks at bar prices.

Open to the public. Anyone can fish. Hope to see you all there
