We’re celebrating World Water Day this year by opening our East Warrnambool Water Tower to the community.
Climb up 154 steps to experience 360 degree views across Warrnambool, along the Hopkins River to the ocean and across the countryside as far as Mount Warrnambool.
Learn more about the history of the water tower, its construction and the important role it has in providing water to our homes.
Sessions will take place in 15-minute blocks for groups of up to 15 people. Minimum age 5 years. Participants must be fit and physically active as you will need to climb 154 steps to the top. Non-slip, closed toe shoes are required. No handbags or backpacks permitted. Cameras are allowed.
The event may be cancelled at short notice due to adverse weather. In this happens, we will email attendees to advise of the cancellation or you can keep an eye on our Facebook page.
