DRAMAFEST SOUTHWEST is a series of youth-focused drama and acting workshops led by an international award-winning artist, Jennifer Monk, bringing professional, industry-level training directly to regional communities.
These hands-on sessions are designed to build confidence, creativity, and performance skills—giving young people the opportunity to access high-quality training in their own towns. By bringing experienced professionals into regional areas, the program creates meaningful opportunities for young performers to grow, right where they are.
Drama Club Prep: Grade 2 10-11am A playful, supportive class full of theatre games, storytelling, character play, scene building, and dress-ups—designed to build confidence and creativity.
Drama Lab: Grade 3 – 6 11.15M - 12.30PM A dynamic, hands-on workshop exploring theatre games, improvisation, character work, and scene creation. A space for kids to explore, collaborate, and perform. Acting Studio:
High School 12.45 - 2pm Stage Performance Techniques; improvisation, voice, body, character development, monologues & scenes, intro to text analysis.
