This two-part oil-painting workshop focuses on studying tonal values in still life. You will learn how to identify shadows and highlights in order to create a three-dimensional form. During the first week, the workshop will concentrate on underpainting, which is a traditional process used to establish the composition and tonal value of the artwork. The second week will be dedicated to the mixing and application of colour.
